You can also try using indoor grounding product from the Earthing Institute. I find them very helpful when I can walk outside in my bare feet.

I play a categories game that helps me feel connected to the world again. I pick a category like fruits and vegetables then list them off alphabetically: Apple, Banana, Cantaloupe, Date, Eggplant, Fig... etc... Sometimes I get a friend to join in on the game and it's guaranteed laughter as we try to figure out the Q's and Y's!

I'm going in No10 with 'Open up Dialogue with your Body'. We never listen to our body and what it wants to say though we expect it to do the very same on our behalf. I've been trying to listen to what lies behind the pains, joys, aches and tiredness and the warm excitement. It takes time but I now have distinct knowledge of each subtle nuance and what my body is communicating. After all, we are in this life together!!

It is really helpful to remember than sometimes the simplest things can help bring us out of our heads and back to earth. When I feel like I'm stuck, I:
* Tidy my room
* Play bongos
* Bake cookies
As I believe you were alluding to, the process of completion itself can be very freeing. My object of comfort is a plastic replica of the unicorns that Edward James Almos's character makes in the film "Blade Runner". Thanks for the great post!
