Dear Matt and David.
I’m v grateful for your replies. They made me realise I’m not crazy or unreasonable – which is what he has had me believing. I guess there will be more pain to go through now – because I’m frightened of changing the status quo and deeply reluctant to give up on a 6-year relationship. But at the same time I also don’t think I can go on with this doubt and anger. Thank you for pointing the way out of the woods.
