“A man is not old until regrets take the place of his dreams.” -Proverb

When you walk around wondering what could have been if only you did things differently, you kill three birds with one stone:

  1. You view the past negatively, instead of seeing what you learned and how you grew from experiences.
  2. You color your present with anxiety, instead of living it mindfully and allowing yourself to feel happy.
  3. You head into the future believing it isn’t good enough, instead of creating it moment to moment.

Today if you start feeling regretful, ask yourself this question: What am I actually accomplishing? And next: What could I accomplish instead if I focused on the good things I can do right now?
