“Your outlook on life is a direct reflection on how much you like yourself.” -Lululemon
When you’re not happy with yourself, everything around you reflects what you feel deep inside: that’s something’s wrong and you don’t know how to fix it.
It’s a crazy, psychological thing, but when you think you’re bad, you suspect everyone else is, too. They’re all selfish, thoughtless, and out to get you. When you think you’re inadequate, everything you do feels that way, too. No work is satisfying enough; no hobbies sufficient to allow you a lasting sense of joy.
We all see a world that shrinks and expands in direct proportion to our faith in ourselves. Every opportunity will seem like a liability if you don’t believe you have the ability to seize and enjoy them.
You can. It starts with being happy with you.
If you didn’t read yesterday’s post, which offered 30 ways to Live out Loud, now might be the perfect time to hone your outlook on life.

Though I run this site, it is not mine. It's ours. It's not about me. It's about us. Your stories and your wisdom are just as meaningful as mine.
