“Don’t wait for your feelings to change to take the action. Take the action and your feelings will change.” -Barbara Baron
We often wait for just the right moment to move forward with plans. When we feel prepared enough. When we feel more financially secure. When our neighbors participate in a tribal rain dance, and the crops have finally sprouted.
The last one seem a little out of place? It shouldn’t; the ones prior can be equally ridiculous when you use them as excuses. That’s usually what they are: reasons to stay stuck where you are–wanting for a better tomorrow but feeling scared or inadequate–instead of making that tomorrow happen.
Today’s post, On Getting Started When You Don’t Feel Ready, may give you the boost you need to make someday come much sooner.
