“Life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they’re supposed to help you discover who you are.” -Bernice Johnson Reagon
Every time you fail, you learn a little about your character–how you respond, whether you’re quick to fall into a negative place, or you look for ways grow from the experience.
Every time you encounter an obstacle, you learn a little about your desires–if they’re meaningful enough to sustain you through adversity; or if comfort, familiarity and ease are more important to you.
Every time you face an injustice, you learn a little about your values–what’s a big enough priority to fight for, and what you’d willing turn a blind eye to.
If you face a challenge today, ask yourself what it reveals about who you are–or conversely, how you would respond if you were the person you want to be.
