“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.” -Buddha

If you’ve ever engaged yourself so fully in activity you felt “in the zone” you’re familiar with the power of a clear mind. Most people don’t experience this type of focus and clarity often.

We walk around narrating life internally, interpreting things we see, and judging people and experiences as good or bad. In many ways we create our reality by deciding how to perceive it.

It’s unlikely we’ll ever completely separate from the tendency to over-think. And that’s not entirely bad. Sometimes you need to reflect and evaluate to determine the best course of action.

Other times, you need to observe your thoughts and realize: you do have a choice about what you think; and that choice will color your experiences.

What do you want to become, and how can you change your thoughts to make that happen today?
