“The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.” -W.M. Lewis

If you could do anything you want to do today, what would you do? Why exactly can’t you do it?

If it’s not a smart risk–it could seriously hurt you or someone else–by all means ignore that desire. If it’s an impulse that contradicts your values or long-term goals, feel free to file it under “not a good idea.”

But if it’s doable–if you have the time, the capacity, and passion–do it! Don’t try. Yoda was right; there’s no such thing. Don’t ponder it. Excessive thought won’t change the fact that you’d like to give it a go. Make a plan, take action, and let yourself feel alive.

It won’t be any easier tomorrow. Even if you forget for a while, you’ll still want it deep down in the future. Don’t wait for a yet-to-be-determined moment. Be that person you want to be now. This is your chance to live.
