Tiny Wisdom: On Solving Problems
by Lori Deschene
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” -Albert Einstein
Most of our problems in life come from our decision to label things as problems. It’s the type of thinking that keeps us stuck, feeling victimized and out of control.
The alternative is to realize that even the most challenging situation contains within it the seed of possibility. If we choose to see things from a different angle, the world can literally change shape.
The people who appear to want to hurt us become people who are hurting, too–people who we can help heal. The struggles that appear insurmountable look like reminders that we’re stronger than we think and we can consciously create our lives.
The most universal problem in life is our need to bury the now underneath problems. We can let that go at any time. What problems can you release today by adjusting your line of thinking?
