hi ! i found that this forum members are really helpful , and friendly,
i just want to share a stupid story and wish to get some good idea ( i always get many good ideas from all of you guys)
I have enrolled in a Chinese as foreign language , and my teachers are exchange students(same age as me) from china * who will be in my country for 10 months( 6 months from now they’ll be back)
i become best friend with one of them ( she teaches me 3 days a week), but the problem is I found out that i have a crush of her ,
is that stupid cuz i think that she think i am just her student, maybe friend, (even we chat often chat on FB)
should i tell her my feeling? , i dont want to hurt both of us because in the next 5-6 months she will be back and likely never return to my country ever again.
Every i feel stress, especially in her class,
anyone have gone through this ,or have any ideas please share ,
I wish you all the best ,

    Hi NeedHelp,

Crushes and relationships with teachers (even if they’re our own age) and foreigners are notorious for ending badly.

What I would do (perhaps) is say something like, “Under different circumstances I’d ask you out. I really like you!” You can then tell from her reaction whether that news is well received.

But honestly I would be long distance FaceBook friends and leave it at that.

    Best,

    Inky

    Dear NeedHelp:

I agree with Inky, above. If you do choose to express your feelings for her (and it may be a good idea as it may reduce the stress you experience wondering IF she will reciprocate), tell her in a casual way, not in a heavy-duty emotional way, but in a light hearted, no-big-deal way, with a smile. Then see her response and keep it light, whatever her response.
