So after much thinking and what ifing I have resigned from my job of 21yrs. It is a job I have loved but I have been feeling really weighed down for the last few years and that my job was separating me from my family and my real life (as I travel a lot and I have been commuting weekly for the past year). I feel both excited and terrified about the future. I feel like my life has started…I see possibilities! I don’t know what I’m going to do yet, though I think I’ll be a mum first for a while. Nothing ventured nothing gained but it’s so scarey leaving after 21yrs! What if I’m not good at anything else? What if I don’t like not belonging? Eck!!! I’m sure it will work out…

    Hi,

I feel that sometimes it is best not to think too much and just follow the flow. If this is what your heart tells you, then you are right. Many people lost their health, sacrifice thrir precious time with family in the end the children are not close withthe parents etc. I really don’t see any job that is worth me to lost valuable things like health.
I would place family as my priority too if I have my own family.
