So, I’m present and awake, openhearted, I’m 36, and living in Texas, just moved here for a job, I’m single, and I don’t have any friends!
Yeah it’s pretty lame and unacceptable, so i’m reaching out!

I joined Lori’s amazing site here to find my Tribe, to find some real friends.

As we are not alone anymore people!

If you feel like I do, Say Hi, I’m here! where’s my Tribe!?

    Looking Forward,

    ~Lance in Houston

    Dear Lancealatte:

Welcome to tiny buddha. Personally it is against … my religion to belong to a tribe, any tribe. This is not a tribe, as far as I am concerned. I hope you find posts interesting and looking forward to more of your honest comments to others as well as your own threads!

Hi Just joined also…wanted to say hello. I am late 50’s female who is on a path that often feels right, but I stumble and forget what I “know” and let others imagined or unimagined judgement knock me off my positive trail. I have been reading Tiny Buddha for a few weeks-My therapy is to try to walk out and say hello to the sun everyday…..read a bit of encouragement whether Christian, Buddhist or agnostic. I have an affirmation. I try to journal. I see a therapist about every three weeks. I am in a mostly fulfilling relationship when its not–its usually because I have become a little too clingy. I dislike that in other people so when I do it myself I can really get down on me. Family is as loving and supportive as anyone could hope for. I strive to be proud of my self and my actions. I am a loner, a party of one.

    Dear Lancealatte, Seaisland, Reader:

It occurred to me that by welcoming you, and by the fact I post so much here (!), that I may be thought of as an employee or someone with some official position or financial interest in this forum: not so. I am only a member here, on tiny buddha, like you, nothing more nothing less.
