If you remember anything of me after I leave this world, remember that I loved even when it was foolish. That I cared even when it was unwanted. When my body is gone remember my heart.

Don’t be afraid to start over. This time you’re not starting from scratch, you’re starting from experience.

‘What if I fall?’ Oh, but darling, what if you fly?

It’s okay that you don’t know how to move on. Start with something easier… like not going back.

If I waited until I had all my ducks in a row, I’d never get across the street. Sometimes you just have to gather up what you’ve got and make a run for it.

Just because you’re not doing what other people are doing, that doesn’t mean you’re failing or falling behind. You’re charting your own course and staying true to yourself, even though it would be easier to join the crowd. You’re creating a life you can fall in love with instead of falling in line. You’re finding the courage to do what’s right for you, even though it’s uncertain and scary and hard. Give yourself some credit, because these are all reasons to be proud.

Try and fail but don’t fail to try.

The 3 C’s of life: choices, chances, and changes. You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change.

Don’t let your fear paralyze you. The scariest paths often lead to the most exciting places.

The coolest people I’ve ever met have the most colorful pasts, they’ve lived lives of risk, made bad choices, learned lessons, explored, and they’re not afraid of being real. Tattered tapestries woven of similar threads, they’re my kind of people. My favorite shades of crazy.

If you really want to live your life to the fullest and realize your greatest potential, you must be willing to run the risk of making some people mad. People may not like what you do, people may not like how you do it, but these people are not living your life. You are!

You have this one life. How do you want to spend it? Apologizing? Regretting? Questioning? Hating yourself? Dieting? Running after people who don’t see you? Be brave. Believe in yourself. Do what feels good. Take risks. You have this one life. Make yourself proud.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the things you did.

I do not want to get to the end of my life and find that I just lived the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well.

Forget all the reasons it won’t work and believe the one reason that it will.

If your forever was ending tomorrow, would this be how you’d want to have spent it? Listen, the truth is, nothing is guaranteed. You know that more than anybody. So don’t be afraid. Be alive.

If you do what you always did, you will get what you always got.

Every really new idea looks crazy at first.

Stop worrying about what you have to lose and start focusing on what you have to gain.

What you do today can improve all your tomorrows.
