Be okay with not knowing for sure what might come next, but know that whatever it is, you will be okay.

We often hold a grudge because we don’t want to let the other person off the hook. But who’s really hooked—the one who’s holding on or the one who’s moved on?

Life isn’t always fair. Some people are born into better environments. Some people have better genetics. Some are in the right place at the right time. If you’re trying to change your life, all of this is irrelevant. All that matters is that you accept where you are, figure out where you want to be, and then do what you can, today and every day, to hold your head high and keep moving forward.

Live simply. Dream big. Be grateful. Give love. Laugh lots.

Note to self: Keep going. You’re doing great. You might not be where you want to be yet, but that’s okay. Just take it one step at a time and keep believing in yourself. And remember: No matter what happens, you can still enjoy your life and be happy.

Be selective with your battles. Sometimes peace is better than being right.

If you really want to live your life to the fullest and realize your greatest potential, you must be willing to run the risk of making some people mad. People may not like what you do, people may not like how you do it, but these people are not living your life. You are!

You may never know what someone is going through, but if you notice any signs of pain—hostility, negativity, or oversensitivity—then odds are, you know how they feel. Respond to the pain instead of judging the signs.

Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.

Life is short. Spend it with friends who make you laugh and feel loved.

Never forget yesterday, but always live for today, because you never know what tomorrow can bring, or what it can take away.

You have this one life. How do you want to spend it? Apologizing? Regretting? Questioning? Hating yourself? Dieting? Running after people who don’t see you? Be brave. Believe in yourself. Do what feels good. Take risks. You have this one life. Make yourself proud.

Every situation in life is temporary. So, when life is good, make sure you enjoy and receive it fully. And when life is not so good, remember that it will not last forever and better days are on the way.

At the end of the night, before you close your eyes, be content with what you’ve done and be proud of who you are.

You don’t need to change your negative thoughts. You just need to change how you engage with them. Observe them, choose not to believe them, then let them naturally pass like clouds in the sky. They will pass. They always do.

Can’t just ‘let it go’? That’s because emotions aren’t like rocks we can drop and throw. They’re more like drops of water that need to run through us. So don’t let it go, let it flow.

Some people like risks, change, and adventure. Some prefer routines, stability, and consistency. Neither way is better. Do what’s right for you.

Every moment is a choice to begin again.

I will breathe. I will think of solutions, I will not let my worry control me. I will not let my stress level break me. I will simply breathe. And it will be okay. Because I don’t quit.

One of the best lessons you can learn in life is to master how to remain calm.
