Dear Lily:
“maybe it is better to create something that is not perfect than creating nothing at all”- I agree. Expecting to produce something perfect and being anxious about it kills creativity.
“In the next decade, I want to take more action”- excellent aim. “I want to express myself and find my voice using art”- this is what you want, your passion.
“I am not that ‘poor mouse’ or ‘grey mouse'”- no you are not. You have too much passion for a mouse. You are persistent in your healing and that is very impressive. Mice can’t do what you are doing!
Plus, mice hide, but you don’t: “I never want to hide again like I did last year at the dormitory. I am not a bad thing that must be hidden”!!!
Good to read: “My life is calmer now than one year ago. I get along with my roommates.. my colleagues hugged me.. we get along better..my professor.. likes my drawings”, and very good to read: “I am proud of myself that I did not give up and that I improved my work performance.. didn’t give up in class.. cooking again.. seeing things clearer than one year ago and getting to know myself better and what I want and don’t want.”- I am proud of you too, for all these things!
Fish soup and walnut bread read delicious. I imagine you would enjoy eating it to the sounds of that self love playlist that you put together, with songs that are inspiring, such as “Take Me As I Am”, take yourself, or accept yourself just as you are, Lily!
