Your dream indicates to me that you feel hurt by that guy and his mother, angry at them. That you have been hurt and angry for a long time and yet did not communicate that to the guy and his mother, but carried that hurt and anger alone, all these years. Am I correct so far?

Seeing reality for what it is- is part of healing, stating the truth. I am supposing this is why you feel better having done so. Please do continue to state the truth. Looking forward to your next post and more of the truth of what happened in your life and what is happening.
