Dear manii:
The forming of “habits and rituals… to be mindful and create a peaceful environment” for yourself is a good beginning, but like you experienced already, it still “doesn’t take much to trigger” you-
this is because certain neuropathways in your brain, creating mental habits from long ago, were not undone because of these habits and rituals. It would take a longer time and more work, a lot of patience.
Would you like to share what you learned in therapy so far?
