Thank you indeed for sharing your thoughts and feelings, this poem. A few of my favorite lines:

“And I don’t know how you kill a part of yourself

Now I  know that I’m not the first nor the last
To be held captive by things that happened in the past

I’d ask ‘What happened to the real me?’

I fall victim to my own mind”
