You can find a partner who will love you and you can be happy sometimes (no one is happy all the time). The issues that can be fixed, have them fixed; the issues that can’t be fixed, accept them. This reminds me of the Serenity Prayer: “god, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference“.
