    Yes I do.   It’s been a challenge to sometimes keep on going when I have to endure discrimination and rejection because I have learning disabilities.   Yet as I get older, I feel my emotions and then just pick myself back up.

    No one would hire me because of my learning disabilities.   It was very clear that the hiring managers were only doing the respective interviews so they won’t be at risk for a discrimination lawsuit.

    Even though I went to trade school and received two secretarial certifications, none of that mattered.

    So I just decided to become self-employed and began a dog sitting business which I’ve been doing for nearly 16 years.

    Best decision I ever made ☺️👍!

    I wouldn’t work in the 9-5 sector now even if you paid a billion dollars!

    Dear Amy:

    Self-employed in the dog sitting business sounds like an excellent way to make money. I remember being amazed that one time, in New York City’s Central Park, when I met a dog walker (in the dog walking business, you can say) who made more than 100 thousand dollars a year.. I never made half of that in my whole life!

    Well I don’t make that much money 😂. But yes it is a very profitable business.   I don’t have that many clients however the hours and the money is good.

    Yes, actually they are ☺️.   Some are inspired by conversations I hear whether in person or from the TV.  And some just come to my head.

    It is a wonderful thing to inspire people. I forget it sometimes when I get lost in the long analyses that I offer people, when all they need is a quick, short inspiration to keep going and have a better day ahead!
