    A Very Special Happy Birthday Wish

    Today is the birthday of one of the greatest people in the world:

    This individual has always encouraged me and supported me in every way.

    Full of wisdom, kindness and a great sense of humor… this person has given me the courage to live my own life.

    As most of you know, I have learning disabilities and have battled my fair share of discrimination and rejection but thanks to this wonderful woman, I have been given to the strength to pick myself back up each time and keep on plugging.

    I know there will be a day when I will no longer have her in my life and that is a day I truly dread.

    As much as it will badly hurt, I know I will be able to carry on with her spirit by my side.

    But…

    Mom, you better not have any plans to leave any time soon because you’re so wanted.

    Dear Amy:

    I don’t want to elaborate on the why although I do appreciate that you may be concerned. Like I said, I don’t want to be removed but it will happen soon enough. I said my goodbye to members today, but wasn’t able to post to everyone, so I am glad I got to tell you about it. Thank you, Amy!
