    Hello everyone!

Here is something I cant seem to fix. I have many people in my life I would like to see. Wife, Family, Friends, Animals, so on. But no matter how I try to split my free time up I still feel like Im not seeing EVERYONE enough!

I feel guilt when I dont see my parents enough because they are getting older. I feel guilt when I dont see my wife enough because we work so much (Well, just different hours). I feel alone without seeing my friends more.

You get the picture, and I have put my hours to paper and tried to figure out how to see each of them more but its not possible unless I quit my job. j/k.

So, how do I become “Ok” with the amount of time I can spend with each?

    Dear The Thinker:

Why do you want to spend more time with your parents? You wrote “because theya re getting older.” But that doesn’t answer my question here. Do you like them more now that they are older and therefore you find time with them more interesting and enjoyable to you? Can you explain more?

Why do you want to spend more time with your wife?

Why do you feel guilty about not spending enough time with your parents and your wife- what is the guilt about?

Depending on your answers you might want to be okay with quitting your job…? Or be okay once you resolve your guilt…?

    Anita,

I was only joking about quitting my job. I have guilt because I “feel” like I dont spend enough time with each person who is important to me in life but I dont see where I can add time. As for family, wife, whoever…Its not that they have gotten….more interesting, I just enjoy being around them.

Im trying to figure out how to be “ok” with the feelings I have because I really dont see how I can improve the situation.

    Dear The Thinker:

In other recent posts you wrote that your family is dragging you down with their negativity, isn’t that so? Why do you want then to spend more time with them???
