You know that feeling when everything outside you is speaking out loud and you can’t or barely can listen to yourself. You trying to please everybody and you forgetting your own desires. Stop for a moment. Take time for you and your inner voice. You should start listening to yourself.

That is what I am doing today while writing this lines. I’m listening to my precious inner voice.
It will make you happy and it helps you discover your own path. Give yourself time to talk to you.

There is no sense spending your life in a way in order to be accepted or just to make other people happy.

Find your own path & be happy.

    Cheers,
    Jorge

    Dear Jorge:

I like your message and how you made it simple and clear to understand in three short paragraphs.

My thoughts elaborating on your post:

People do lose themselves in all the noise, and when it comes down to it, our own mental noise, our automatic thoughts, reacting to the outside noise, reacting to what people say with thoughts like:

    What did I do wrong?
What should I say to make this person happy?
Is this person going to shame me? What do I say to prevent it?
Maybe this person doesn’t like me. Make her like me.
    Etc.

And instead of getting caught up in these reactive thoughts, the thinker can … think differently:

    What is happening here?
What is motivating the people around me?
Am I being disrespected or abused here?
It is okay if this person doesn’t like me. I don’t like some people. Neither is bad for not liking anyone.
    Etc.
