Hi Erin and Joe.
This is a great topic and unfortunately not discussed often enough.
I have been using coconut oil on my skin for at least a year now, and I love it! I also dry brush my skin before showering or a bath, this has also improved the smoothness of my skin.
Joe, I have heard of oil pulling, and have tried it. Unfortunately I cannot seem to discipline myself long enough to stick with it. 🙁
Other things I have tried are using sugar, coffee grinds, Epsom salts as an exfoliate.
Teas in the bathtub are also a great way to get the antioxidants into our skin.
