    Hi Adalyn,

It’s self-destructing when we choose to react offensively instead of initiating an agreeable communication in times of conflict. Reacting based on our physical, emotional and mental exhaustion can result us to overact and experience further disputes. We must be cautious in letting our emotions control how we respond in certain situations because overreacting often results in actions or words that we will regret later.

Understanding ourselves, especially in our weakest moments, can help us to deliberately underreact and be responsible enough for our thoughts and actions.

When we allow other people to take advantage of our vulnerability, we become defeated and end up succumbing more to our weaknesses. We are responsible for our actions. We can ask God and others for help when we are weak and challenged by external circumstances. However, we should know that we always have the power to choose!

    I hope this helps.
