I, too, feel overwhelmed in my life. Many things seem wrong in my life and I also have obstacles to overcome. I understand that I am the only one responsible for my fate and it’s very difficult for me to decide what I need to focus on in life. I know I should only focus on one thing at a time, but so many things in my life need to improve I feel like I don’t know where to begin.
I feel exactly how you feel about being shy, I am very socially awkward and I have a lot of trouble talking to people. They always say that when making changes you should tell other people about it to help keep you accountable but I just feel like I can’t tell all these things to people. My life’s been a wreck for so long, I think people have gotten tired of hearing anything from me anymore and I am afraid to open up, much less tell people about problems I am trying to overcome.
I think you have a good idea, though I’m concerned once you are further along it will be a lot of things to do out of your comfort zone all at once. You’ll have 7 things to do on a day that are out of your comfort zone? Then again, I usually am paralysed by inaction because I overthink things, so maybe you’re right!
