I read this post and it was like reading something I wrote myself! I am working on the same issues. It is tough. Seeing a counselor helps, but I’m still battling with these issues. Having a consistently supportive partner is really helpful. I started a self esteem work book and it helps a bit, as I can step back and look at my thoughts and feelings in a more logical way. I however, haven’t been sticking to it! I need to get back on track.
