You are not equipped to evaluate, you take it in, and so it is instilled in you. As an adult you can choose what you believe but it is not easy to uproot what was instilled in you, possible but not easy.

I was told too, like you, that my head is in the clouds, a whole lot. I realized later why it was so- because I was so criticized and bullied on the ground, that I had to find refuge in the clouds…
