Dear M:
So the first time, what motivated you (following a time of lack of motivations) was “meeting new people learning new things”. That happened because of a change you did not create: high school was over and University started. The second time you created the change by changing careers.
Thing is you are afraid changing career that time was not wise, am I correct? And you are afraid changing it yet again will not be wise either. Is it unwise?
But you need “meeting new people learning new things” to motivate you. Question is how to do that without changing your career, if it is unwise. I don’t know about meeting new people, but it is possible to learn new things while still in the same work place, doing the same job. Learning does stimulate me, it keeps me going. And so, what can you learn where you are, interacting with the same people, doing the same work?
