Dear lexy99:
The way I understand it to be is that like many people the restlessness is inside of you, the anxiety, the ongoing fear that causes you to pull your hair (first two lines above).
Re-reading a bit from your previous threads, this anxiety has been going on for many years, maybe most of your life. (It has been so in my life).
In some jobs you will be more anxious than in other jobs. Having a very supportive manager in your current job, one with whom you get along very well is a huge plus.
A job with better hours and better pay, I believe, will not compensate for a non supportive manager. A non supportive manager will be a source of lots of anxiety for you, so do pay attention to management in future job considerations.
I believe the anxiety, the restlessness, will be there in you (as it is in me) no matter what job you have. If you expect to not feel anxious in a job, I suppose you will always be looking for that magical job in which you will be anxiety free. And although you may have a calm hour or day in any particular job (just like in life otherwise), the anxiety is a condition that does not go away when one changes jobs or other external circumstances.
