Dear Jay:

“I love him with all my heart”, you wrote. But as you can see, this love is not enough and you keep suffering as he is once again being inconsiderate and irresponsible. Not a good return on your investment in him.

As much as you love him, as intensely as you are emotionally attached to him, better you end the relationship. You will miss him but you will be better for it, and so will your kids. Maybe your mom’s is not the best option for you, maybe someplace else. Maybe your mom first and then elsewhere.

Some  other time you can find the love that you need in a loving, responsible, dependable man.
