Regarding Mark William’s Mindful Meditation series, my therapist at the time sent me links to this or that individual meditation, so I never had the whole series format. Here is one I have, it says” mindfulness disc 2, meditation 5: sounds and thoughts, meditation 6: exploring difficulty, meditation 7: befriending. Oh, I just came across a meditation not by Mark Williams, but an excellent one, called Mountain Meditation (also introduced to me by my therapist at the time).
I hope you get better with daily physical exercise (I walk 3.5 miles=5.6 kilometers every day, ups and downs, plus a bit of weight lifting and crunches/ core work and a tiny bit of yoga), and getting up from the computer, moving around once in a while.
Regarding the food topic: I would write him a very short message about it, very straightforward, a couple of sentences, write it on the board or on a piece of paper, taping it to the board. Let me know how that goes.
