Yes, I remember now: the 7000 employee job paid less, and there were more chances to get infected because of lots of people going in and out- but it was a few minutes from where you live, and it provided perhaps an opportunity to leave the construction field and work instead in the chemical field.
But that job’s contract was terminated and all you are left with is the construction job in the mountains which makes you miserable, just like you predicted that it will. Well, I hope you quit it at the end of the week. Like you wrote: “It is a crazy world out there”- where you are and where I am.
May you (and I, and everyone reading this) keep as calm as possible in these crazy, crazy times and do our best to survive and even better than survive- make our lives better in any way possible.
