Dear Reader:
Worldometer, Jan 8: yesterday two more record high numbers in the US: more than 280 thousand new cases, and 4,223 new deaths- more than yesterday, and more than on any other day during the pandemic of 2020-2021.
A winter-wave record high of 1,162 new deaths yesterday in the UK is lower by only 4 than the all time pandemic high of new deaths on April 21 (1,166).
