Dear Lily:

Accountable on your second day of quarantine! I just came back from a different walk than the one I take daily- one on a recreational path through a historical tourist site with trees and streams all around, the weather was most pleasant (sorry you are not enjoying it!), but the exciting thing was that it was my first walk outdoors in a public area traveled by other visitors, since it was announced by the CDC (and the president) that for fully vaccinated people, masks outside are no longer required (except for the case of very crowded outdoor events)- what a relief and a sense of freedom it was to walk without masks while others crossing my path are also without masks and no one seems afraid!!!

P.S. the stinging nettles everywhere are too tall and thick to be picked for food preparation!
