Dear Lindzee:

I mentioned your first thread because that’s what I always do when communicating with members: I read or re-read a member’s posts in past threads, and then, in the member’s new thread, I almost always retell what the member shared in the previous threads, including quotes. It helps me gather a wider understanding of a member, when I do that.

“I’m putting my trust in them, and I’m afraid that if they were wrong in her, if I can continue to trust their wisdom and guidance”- well, the shrub didn’t tell you anything about you and Kale. The tree told you one word. And so, you are afraid that the one word the tree said may not be trustworthy. I’d say one word is not enough to guide a person in regard to a possible love relationship. Can you imagine buying a book titled: A Guide to Relationships, you open the book and there’s just one word? Not enough, says I.

“I really only lie to my parents, and only when necessary. Such as when I’m spending a lot of time in my room, I say I’m praying (to God) but in reality, I’m meditating”- it’s a shame that your father, being a theologist, having studied at great length the many and varied religious beliefs on earth, is so strict in regard to his son’s spiritual/ religious beliefs, not allowing a deviation from his own, personal beliefs.
