Hi Anita and Teak,

I thought I would pop on here to let you know how I’m doing.

My husband and I are getting divorced. This is the best decision I have ever made.

My son struggles with the change, but my relationship with him has never been closer. I feel able to show up for him in his time of need. We have 50/50 split custody.

I am dating, casually. It is a lot of fun, but sometimes confusing. It is teaching me a lot of lessons about people and communication and emotion.

I am not depressed anymore. I am fragile, and very often bewildered. But I experience moments of joy almost every day. I am living the way I want to live.

I thought you might like to know about these developments.
