Dear Emily:

The U.S. No Child Left Behind Act of 2002-2015 was about providing more education opportunities for k-12 students, focusing on 4 key groups of students: students in poverty, students of color, students receiving special education services, and students who speak and understand limited English. It was replaced with Every Student Succeed Act signed by President Obama in 2015.

I am sad too that you were left behind, that no  one fought for you and that no one taught you the importance of education. So many children were left behind and are left behind in so many ways. I was one of many. The title of your thread is Letting it Out… if you need to let having been left behind more, please do.
