I think that what you need right now more than anything is emotional support and encouragement: someone (… I am this someone) to tell you that although you can (and want to) do better, you are doing better than you used to, and you are doing quite well presently! I admire your optimistic, grateful attitude and I think that this attitude will carry you through the process of understanding yourself better and functioning in life in ways that bring you confidence and contentment.

You didn’t respond to the content of that first, long reply.
