Regarding childhood. No one chooses who they are born to. For some, it is like “winning” an unlucky lottery and they are born to parents who are incapable of loving and raising children.
You have had to be your own parent and you did a fantastic job of raising yourself.
This situation was not your fault and any child would have suffered.
Though I run this site, it is not mine. It's ours. It's not about me. It's about us. Your stories and your wisdom are just as meaningful as mine.
