First off, I’m sorry this is happening to you. NO ONE SHOULD PLAY FAVORITES WITH THEIR CHILDREN, let alone their in laws. Normally I don’t give advice to others because I’m a young person. You could talk to your father in law about his issues. If that doesn’t work, you two, yourself and your father in law can see a professional counselor to discover the roots behind his favoritism.
