Early in my career, I felt as you do now. If you feel even slightly off-track, listen to your gut and make the move. I am older now and have responsibilities that don’t allow me the flexibility to go back to school and retrain for an entirely new career, so I am trying to make a move by putting the skills that I have honed to work in a more useful purpose. As Kath said, it sounds like you are younger, so DO IT NOW! I wish I’d done something years ago. I know it’s not too late for me to make a change, but it is proving more difficult. Save yourself the grief and move on now. Good luck to you! Look at the journey ahead as an exciting opportunity to make your life more meaningful.
