The questions that you asked me were about the parts of my story that has only been shared with people that I have come to trust and that would understand. They felt invasive and I became defensive. It also has taught me a great lesson. If I want to help people to heal from the wounds of their childhoods, I need to talk about these more personal aspects of my recovery.
