After many months of thinking that I was having digestion issues which I thought was the reason why my weight kept abnormally going up and down. Constipation ect, fatigue amongst many other symptoms… What the blood results have shown, is that I have hypothyroidism – Yep! My grandma has been skinny all her life and she too has suffered from Hypothyroidism all her life and still does, at the age of 72 years old. My vitamin D levels are really low again and also my estrogen levels are not at a normal range either. Which explains why my periods are always so god-awfully painful every month, along with being fatigued and bedridden for days after my menstraul cycles starts, which includes abnormal bloating, which I also suffered from. Tuesday I got the results from my naturopathic Doctor after almost waiting a month and he has UPS me 2 organic/natural medications. 1. is Nature-Throid http://getrealthyroid.com/ and the other for my estrogen is this http://www.naturalhealthyconcepts.com/dim-pro-plus-60-p-nutra-biogenesis.html
I’m glad the mystery is over about my health and I’m excited to get my body back to normal and go back to being thin again like I was 2 years ago. Here I was eating healthy, working out and doing all the right things and couldn’t understand why I wasn’t getting down to the weight I wanted. The blood results explained it all… The hypothyroidism must have went un-detected in the past because I’ve gotten my blood drawn over a year ago and my thyroid was fine. But it just explains why over the coarse of my 20’s when I was so thin at 21 years old and then I started battling with my weight going up and down all the time… That it was hypothyroidism being the culprit all these years. My doctor says, once I start taking the nature-throid that I won’t feel fatigued anymore and lose the extra weight I need/want. Can’t freaking wait! 🙂
Anyway, I had to post and share the news with you all. Since I thought it was my digestion being the weight issue. Even though I do have digestion issues at times, it is not the reason why I’ve struggled with my weight fluctuations. Now it’s time to get back on track to my old self body/weight wise. Thanks all for reading. Back to work now.
