Thats it. It was a new copywriting job and i lasted only 2 weeks. Boss told me that i couldnt do very easy and elementary tasks. Have no idea what to do next. There is no welfare in my country.
I realized that i am, in fact, very stupid person. Boss said that she didnt ask from me to know everything, she just demanded writing without stylistic errors. There was another guy in the department who worked there only 4 months and he did everything much better than i did. I looked at him and saw much better human being, a productive member of society, a smart person. And who am i? Cant even write without errors. Writing was the only skill that i thought i had and now i see that i dont have even that. Before this experience i whined that nobody would give me a chance on a job market. And here it is, people gave me a chance and i still fucked it up and proved that i am worthless.
With my ridiculous resume i wont be able to find any other good job. I searched this job for a YEAR. There is no way that i can find another good job quickly. And its so humiliating to ask my mom for money when i am 24 years old. All my friends, who congratulated me with landing this job, now must think that i am complete failure. And they are right. Of course they said that they are sorry about the outcome, but i feel that they are very disappointed in me.August 26, 2016 at 7:59 pm #113379AnonymousGuestDear ferion:
I am sorry you got fired from your job and I understand it is bad turn of events for you. I also think you are catastrophizing, that is arriving to conclusions that are not accurate.
You were fired and you are worthy, not worthless.
You were fired, at 24 and you are not a complete failure.
You were fired, but it doesn’t mean you are stupid.Your boss told you that you couldn’t do very basic and elementary tasks. Maybe it is true. It may also be true that you can do high level and sophisticated tasks, if given the opportunity. Maybe the basic and elementary tasks were … too boring and your attention drifted, so you didn’t stay focused.
You are disappointed, I understand. But life is not over for you. Don’t give up on yourself.

Even I am currently in a jobless situation and this is the third time there is a gap in between my jobs. I got laid off in spite of having all the skills required for the job and doing it well. So, your case (not doing well as you say) and my case (even after doing well), both have the same end result of losing up the job. So I do not think it is right for you to think that you are not good enough just because you didn’t make it IN THIS job.
After so much of “job losing” experience I am not worried much about getting a new job. It has been quite some time that I lost my job but I do have full confidence that I will get a new one. I want your mindset to reach that stage of thinking.
The Universe has infinite possibilities. So trust me, you will make it to the right job that you want.Who else could we seek peace from other than Eckhart Tolle in situations like joblessness-

Take care. Do write back if you feel like anything.
Best of luck for your job search and wish me too 🙂
