    Hi guys

I keep getting the feeling especially when I am with my boyfriend that something is up or wrong(either with him or in general). I can’t explain why though, I try to say he’s acting different and all that jazz but hes not and I know that in reality the situation is fine. I am getting quite frustrated with myself because I know the feelings are irrational and probably caused by my anxiety. It’s taking away from quality time with my boyfriend because I just keep worrying that there is something wrong. I need some help guys, I meditate usually once in the morning just focusing on my breathing, should I maybe start doing it twice a day? Could this be a trust issue of any sorts? I just need some advice to stop feeling like this.

    Thanks

    Dear Leanne:

To stop feeling that there is something wrong, you need to listen to what is indeed wrong because there IS something wrong. Your emotions don’t lie, they carry the truth in them, valid messages. You don’t know what is wrong because the information you need is in the emotion and you don’t know yet what it is. It may have nothing to do with your boyfriend. It could be that a past hurt needs to be seen, a past hurt and betrayal and you fear it will happen again. That hurt prevents you from enjoying enough safety with your boyfriend, so you are anxious, fearful.
