Wow, what great advice on this board. I just wanted to add a few things. First, if there were more supportive communities like this I don’t think there would be so much anxiety and unnecessary suffering in the world. I have hope for the future because of communities like this.

I also just wanted to reiterate that a lot of the times we make things worse by the things we add to our anxiety. I think if you tried to turn toward your suffering more and work with it you will begin to find more peace. I know you just want to be happy and carefree. I know. I know how scary your emotions can get when you feel overwhelmed — that’s why it’s good to find people who you can talk with and support you. Stay present — when we “time travel” in our head too much to our past worries or future anticipations we cause ourselves a great deal of unnecessary suffering — I don’t think people know how much.
