I think that competent psychotherapy will help you a whole lot. In therapy, with an empathetic, capable therapist, you can explore your childhood, what happened there, and re-connect you with the emotions that are currently not available to you: curiosity, motivation, hope, joy, as well as the simple emotions of fear and sadness, hurt and anger that are probably tangled in knots.
