Hi Nikkole- Wow, that was a really uncalled-for comment from the therapist. I know therapy is often recommended, but a lot of them have their own baggage/judgment issues. So sometimes it takes a while to find the right one, if you do choose to continue down that path. I do think your problem is a real issue that deserves compassion/exploration, etc. I hope you don’t take what that therapist said to heart.
Though I run this site, it is not mine. It's ours. It's not about me. It's about us. Your stories and your wisdom are just as meaningful as mine.
