Drive defensively, anticipate that some of the drivers will be rude and/ or will not be paying attention, will not follow the rules and will not do what makes sense. Just like in other areas of life, live defensively but assertively, both.

I like what you wrote here: “if you shine too brightly it may make people annoyed at you because you are overly confident. .. You don’t always have to shine very brightly that you blind people (like the sun’s glare)”- excellent thoughts, shine but don’t blind people.
